Team Member Declaration By entering my name below and submitting this risk assessment, I confirm that: I have personally completed this assessment for the work I am undertaking and the conditions present at the site at the time of assessment.
I have inspected my work area and identified the hazards reasonably apparent to me. I have implemented the control measures identified in this assessment before commencing the relevant work and where an applicable Solar Wash SWMS or Safe Work Procedure applies, I will undertake the work in accordance with its requirements. I will use equipment only where I am trained, authorised and competent to do so and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
I understand that completing this assessment does not remove my obligation to continuously monitor site and work conditions. If conditions change, a new hazard is identified or a required control becomes ineffective or cannot be maintained, I will STOP WORK and reassess before continuing. If I am uncertain whether the work can be undertaken safely, I will STOP WORK and contact my supervisor or management before proceeding.
I understand that no commercial, scheduling or customer requirement takes priority over safety.
I understand that this assessment applies to the conditions present at the time it was completed. If the task, weather, work area, equipment, access method or site conditions change, I must stop and reassess the work before continuing.
